Prayer is a foundational part of life at Kensington. We recognise that we are completely dependent on God’s power for all that we do and demonstrate that in prayer.

There are daily, weekly, monthly and termly opportunities to pray together.

Morning prayer

Weekdays 9.00am – 9.30am

This prayer time is open to everybody. We read a Bible passage and respond in prayer. People can listen and contribute as much or as little as they would like. Homegroups

Tuesdays and Wednesdays

We meet together in smaller groups on Tuesdays or Wednesdays each week. To get involved see our list of small groups. We pray for the church, local and global issues together.

Week of Prayer

Annually at the beginning of September and January

These weeks of prayer are great opportunities to bring the beginning of the academic and the calendar year to God.
We pray for the needs of our church family and missionaries, often hearing from those who are serving God in other parts of the world.
